We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
After more than 20 years of assisting and increasing responsibility in the front office, I transitioned to front office work full time in 2016. As our office manager, patient care is my number-one priority. My job gives me a great opportunity to be able to help patients with their treatment plans, insurance, scheduling, and so much more. I also manage the daily needs of Dr. Taylor, as well as the rest of the staff, so they can concentrate on our patients’ care! Everyone in our office genuinely cares about our patients’ needs and concerns. We are all committed to creating a relaxing, comfortable, and fun environment for our patients.
I am a busy mom of five, plus a zoo of animals. We are always running from one sport to the next depending on the season. In my free time, I love to travel to tropical places—sometimes with my kiddos and sometimes just me and my fiancé. I enjoy being outdoors, gardening, cooking (especially baking), and basking in the sun.
My job includes everything from meeting new patients and taking X-rays, to proving dental hygiene therapy to patients such as cleanings, periodontal health screening and education, and administering local anesthesia when necessary. However, the most important part of my job is helping patients overcome their dental anxiety by providing gentle treatment. It’s so rewarding to be a part of improving their oral health. I truly appreciate working with such a dedicated doctor and team. The dogs are great too!
My husband and I are going on ten years of marriage and have two boys and a baby girl. In my spare time I enjoy going for walks with my kids and getting involved with the community to provide free or low cost dental services to people in need. I was fortunate enough to participate in a health mission trip to Jamaica with my dental hygiene graduating class in 2015, and plan to go back next year!
Certified Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant
I joined Dr. Taylor’s team as an intern in 2015 and graduated from Bellingham Technical College’s dental assisting program in March of 2016. I was so happy to become a fulltime member of Dr. Taylor’s team! He has been a great teacher, and as a recent graduate, I have learned so much from him. My goal is to help make going to the dentist a more pleasant experience. I know many people have dental anxiety. My “co-workers” Vixen and Justice (our therapy dogs) are great at helping our patients feel calm.
I was born and raised in Bellingham, and love it here. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter Paris, playing with our kitten Lennix, and taking my Pomeranian Moka for walks in the park. We live by Whatcom Falls Park, where there are so many awesome trails to explore.
