Certified Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant
I joined Dr. Taylor’s team as an intern in 2015 and graduated from Bellingham Technical College’s dental assisting program in March of 2016. I was so happy to become a fulltime member of Dr. Taylor’s team! He has been a great teacher, and as a recent graduate, I have learned so much from him. My goal is to help make going to the dentist a more pleasant experience. I know many people have dental anxiety. My “co-workers” Vixen and Justice (our therapy dogs) are great at helping our patients feel calm.
I was born and raised in Bellingham, and love it here. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter Paris, playing with our kitten Lennix, and taking my Pomeranian Moka for walks in the park. We live by Whatcom Falls Park, where there are so many awesome trails to explore.
Certified Dental Assistant
I began my career in dentistry in 2011 and joined Dr. Taylor’s team in 2017. I work alongside Dr. Taylor, helping him and our patients throughout the day to accomplish successful dental procedures and treatment. It is so rewarding to help patients achieve their dental goals. I truly enjoy helping them overcome fears and leave feeling confident and happy with their smile. I love being a part of such a knowledgeable and kind team who are always willing to go the extra mile to help in any way we can.
In my spare time, I love to be outdoors or traveling as often as possible.
I have been in the dental field for going on 5 years now. I graduated from a dental assisting school in Florida in 2015, then moved to Bellingham in 2016 and I love it here! I'm extremely passionate about patient education and our whole staff providing outstanding customer service. I never want a patient to leave our office feeling unsure about what's next, or what treatment they need. Dentistry is kind of a different language, so I am always here to assist in helping you understand any of your dental needs. I am excited to be part of Dr. Taylors team, and hope to meet you soon.
When I'm not working I am doing my favorite job of all which is being a mom to my two children. I love spending time with my house full of boys which includes, my husband, our two sons, our dog Huck, and our cat Tim. I can also be found studying as I'm currently taking classes to further my education. I enjoy traveling, interior design, and cooking.
Vixen & Justice
Meet our two therapy dogs here to help any dental anxiety disappear, and get as many pets as they can from our patients. They love to cuddle under the dental chairs while our patients are getting treatment done. Their names are Vixen and Justice. Vixen is 7-years-old and is the mother to Justice. Vixen has been practicing her therapy skills since she was a 6 month old puppy and seems to love what she does. Like a good mother she helps keep 2-year-old Justice in line and is continually training him therapy skills.
When not working their hobbies are playing catch, long naps, and always making sure to be near Dr. Taylor no matter what he is doing.
NOTE: We understand that some patients might not wants dogs near them due to allergies or other reasons and we are always happy to accommodate. Please just let us know and we have a special spot for them to be away during your visit.
